Cheshire Art Classes: Introduction to Chalk Pastels! Join us for a one-off introductory session designed specifically for beginner and amateur artists eager to explore the world of chalk pastels! This hands-on class will guide you through the fundamentals of creating realistic drawings using a range of chalk pastels. What You'll Learn: Chalk Pastel Blending: Master the use of various pastels to blend new shades and layering colours. Anatomy of Light: Understand how light interacts with objects to create depth and realism in your drawings. Mark Making: Explore different techniques to enhance your drawing skills, including the use of blenders, conte pencils and putty erasers. Still Life Study: Apply what you've learned by completing a detailed drawing study of a still life subject alongside your fellow participants. What’s Included: Drawing Materials: All essential drawing materials will be provided, including a range of pastel paper. *Students must provide their own set of pastels.* Class Size: Limited to a maximum of 8 participants per session to ensure personalized instruction.
